A New Addition.......
Baby Joseph Davis was born on June 28th @ 2:05 a.m.
He weighed in at a healthy 8 lbs. 10.8 oz. (94.5th percentile). His length was 20 inches (75th percentile), and head circumference and cheek width were off the charts.
After a long labor, mom finally had her reward for nine months and three days of carrying the little (?) guy around, including teaching her UVSC dance classes, and swimming and walking daily. In the case that endless hours spent in dance instruction with his mom have some influence on his choice of hobbies, we have already made some guided suggestions concerning his past times. Dance will be okay as long as it is used in doing the Superbowl Shuffle and/or celebrating a touchdown, or as a venue to meet girls.
The baby has been noted to have chubby cheeks with a light dimple on the left side, his mommy's cute nose, and an appetite for two. He favors his mommy (unless he needs a diaper change) and is already sleeping like a teenager (we have had to wake him for feedings during the night during the last four nights - we are told by the veterans that we'll be lucky if this lasts for much longer).
Despite his congenial nature and good temperament, he certainly is doing some things his way. Danielle was set to be induced on June 27th. The night of the 26th we decided to spend our last night with just the two of us by watching our wedding video. Just as we were reliving the time in our reception when Danielle surprised me with the BYU groom's cake, he decided he was ready to join in on the fun, and her water subsequently broke.
